2. Wednesday, 18 Nov, 2015 07:01pm – 09:00pm – Effective Networking with Jean Balfour

When it comes to career progression, networking is considered to be a core skill, yet often it is neglected. Many people find it challenging or scary and prefer to avoid it, thinking that performing in their role to high standards is the only factor in having a successful career. Especially for women, many of whom are working under time constraints imposed by caring responsibilities at home, this tendency can lead to having fewer networks to call on. The workshop will introduce the importance of networking to career progression. With a practical approach, it will provide useful tools to help achieve your networking goals. Jean Balfour is an accredited executive coach and organisation consultant with over 20 years experience. She specialises in executive coaching, leadership development and diversity and inclusion.
