The Big Idea: Cornell Celebrates 150, Hong Kong (13-15 Dec)
Over 700 Cornellians from around the globe came together in Hong Kong for the first international kickoff of the year-long Sesquicentennial celebrations.
If you didn’t come, you missed terrific lectures by Cornell faculty on the future of democracy in the US and China, a rare opportunity to hear Robert Miller ’55, co-founder of DFS, speak and most of all a fabulous gala dinner show celebrating Cornell! The show even featured Jonathan Wong ’08, Hong Kong singer/actor/composer, singing with his Cornell Acapella group.
Many thanks to the Cornell Club of Hong Kong for their great hospitality!
