2. CORNELL CARES for AIDHA 

Aidha is Singapore-registered non-profit training organisation and Institution of Public Character (IPC) providing financial literacy, computer, leadership and entrepreneurship skills to foreign domestic workers. Aidha’s aim is to enable foreign domestic workers to build brighter futures for themselves. For more information attend their Volunteer Orientation on Sunday September 6th at UWC – SEA – 1207 Dover Road. http://www.aidha.org .
Volunteering at Aidha is a truly rewarding experience making the most of your skills.

We’ve had a marvelous spring and summer following the Charter Day Fiesta celebration at Hombre Cantina in April where more than 70 alumni attended and another great annual satay party last month seeing 50 freshmen, students and alumni come by to send-off the new batch of very promising students. Who: Incoming and current Cornell students and their parents and all dues-paying Cornell Club of Singapore Members
When: Saturday, July 25, 2015, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Amber Residences Function Room (by the pool), 50 Amber Road
Cost: Free. Optional: Bring a few drinks for yourself and a new friend.
Dress Code: Casual

We’re turning up the heat as Cornell turns 150 this April!
Join in the Big Red global celebrations with food, drinks and games in the heart of the city at Hombre, a hip and central Mexican restaurant run by our very own alumni Alex Liu, MMH ’09.
